Introducing our newest cover option: Personal Perishables Cover
Ever had your lunch or other personal items stolen or accidentally consumed by a co-worker? Have you had to go hungry because you no longer had food?
BizCover is once again leading the pack, launching our brand new product: Personal Perishable Insurance.
Personal Perishables Insurance covers working individuals for the loss of consumable items in the workplace from both intentional theft and unintentional consumption.
The product can also cover an individual for up to $1000 per annum for potentially multiple claims.*
Claiming is quick and efficient with our online claim form and support line. To make a claim, evidence or fault needs to be shown and then receipts for the replacement meal will be paid promptly.
Dr Ross Gellar, paleontologist and a victim of stolen perishables in the past, welcomes the new cover. “I’ve faced devastating consequences from someone eating my lunch at work. You see my sister makes these amazing turkey sandwiches. Her secret is an extra slice of gravy soaked bread in the middle. I put it in the fridge at work and when someone ate my sandwich I was so upset I got put on probation. That sandwich was the only good thing going on in my life! Someone ate the only good thing going on in my life! It was a few weeks and some therapy before I could come back.”
“Cover like this could have compensated me for such a loss, even if nothing can replace my turkey sandwich,” ponders Gellar.
This new type of cover will revolutionise the way insurance covers business individuals. In the past it has been only for larger claims and never at a micro level. This means that insurance and help can be given to business people where they really need it.
Cover starts from as little as $85 per month.
